The FitAqua AC-CSR-10″ 10µm descaling filter can be fitted to any 10″ inch filter system (counter top, bottom counter, central supply) regardless of manufacturer. It is a high-quality filter to remove the total hardness of water through ion exchange resin softening (ion – exchange resin CSR).

The main feature of the FitAqua AC-CSR descaling filter is that it reduces the level of calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness. In this way, it eliminates the formation of scales on surfaces, pipes as well as circuits and heating elements of household appliances.

For proper use of the filter, it should be replaced every 6 months (depending on the quality and hardness of the water that passes through the filter medium).

The replacement filter also incorporates a solid particle pre-filter with a nominal filtration of 10 microns, which removes medium and fine dirt, mud, sand, rust particles, soil, sediment, micro-particles, etc.

What are microns (μm)?

The micron is a unit of length equal to one millionth of a meter. Also called a micron. Its international symbols are μm and μ. In Greek it is also rendered as a millimeter of a millimeter or a millimeter.

1 µm = 1 µ = 1/1000 mm = 10-6 m

It is often used to measure the filtration capacity of replacement water filters. The smaller the size in microns the better the filtering. So choosing a filter with 10 µm is a better choice than one with 20 µm.
